Fishing Report 1/28/09
Slow going out there for the fishing. Still some reports of white trout around the 3-mile bridge. Not much in the way of fish on my last two trips. Saw some bait around NAS Pensacola, most were fairly small though. Cobia run is now just a little over a month away! Also, snapper season is closing in. Don’t forget to check up on the new grouper regs as there will be a season closure this year, look at the “fishing links-saltwater regulations” for the info on the species you are targeting before heading offshore!
Surf Report 1/25/09
Pensacola Beach: Wind should be out of the north this morning at about 5-10mph causing for dropping surf. Ankle high at best as this front pushes through. See pics from 1/24.
Fishing Report 1/24/09
Pensacola: Reports of good redfishing and white trout around the 3-Mile Bridge. Most are being caught on dead shrimp on the bottom. Schools of big redfish are present around the pass.
Surf Pensacola 1/24/09
Went to Pensacola Beach today with Sam and Britt. I stayed on shore and took pictures, looked to be knee to thigh high and semi clean conditions with light west winds. Click on the article title to see all pictures:
