Pensacola Beach 4:00pm:  Surf is up, offshore winds have dropped it some but it is still in the waist high range and clean.  Look for it to drop a little more but should likely yeild at least some longboard surf for Easter.  Stay safe out there.

Pensacola Beach:  We surfed the late morning incoming tide today, the winds went offshore overnight and cleaned up some fantastic surf in the wee morning hours.  We arrived around 10am and it was still solid waist to chest with some overhead sets out there.  Super clean fun waves.  Click on the article title to see all of the pics. 1st Pic: Matt Dimitroff looking for cobia.  2nd pic: Brittney Barnett big tun on some solid surf.  3rd pic: Sam sliding on past at the end of a nice wave. 4th pic: Wes. 5th pic Matt D on a big drop in.

Pensacola Beach: Wednesday should stay pretty flat on the gulf.  Thursday we should see the wind turn around to the southwest.  By Friday we should see the surf build to around chest high.  Big surf should stick around through early next week.

Basically the weather is in charge.  The Bob Sikes bridge is producing small speck and reds with the usual catfish and white trout mixed in.  The cobia run is steady when boats can get out there and brave the rough gulf.

Pensacola Beach 2:15pm:  South Wind is on the swell today.  Was in the chest high range this morning, now it is about shoulder high with some bigger sets and strong currents.  Careful out there if you want to brave the surf.
