Surfing Pensacola Beach 6/30/09
We got out for a quick evening surf session expecting green flag conditions and were pleasently surprised to be greeted by some knee high surf and thigh high sets rolling in from the Gulf of Mexico. Here are some pictures of Sam, Brittany, and myself. Not great photos.
June Fishing Report from Capt. Bob Quarles
Here you go, these are just some of the best pics from the month of June (one of my favorites to fish).
Check out the variety of fish.. we have ben routinely catching six or seven different species on each trip….
After a very windy spring, June has been absolutely gorgeous and the fishing has been fantastic..
The pictures and the smiles say it all.. I will just be quiet and let you peruse them….
Fishing Report 6/29/09
Fishing has been very good lately. Lots of good reports of kingfish, spanish mackerel, red snapper, and many other species close to shore. Lots of good shark reports coming in too from beach fishermen. Best bet for this week is kingfish just off the beach. The tournament winner on Saturday at Flounder’s was 52 pounds.
Surf Report 6/29/09
Pensacola Beach 8:25am: Surf is about knee high today. Might be some near thigh high with some of the larger sets but still pretty small. We surfed yesterday on the 9′ longboard. Caught some fun short rides but they were pretty small.
Surf Report 6/28/09
Pensacola Beach 8:44am: Surf is shin to knee high today. Looks like we should have a little better surf coming up on Monday and Tuesday. Nice and warm out there today so grab the longboards and head for the beach!
