Inshore:  Bull reds at the pass, lots of specks.  Offshore: Good billfishing when its calm, grouper, and aj’s on the bridge rubble and Oriskany.

American Kestrel

Several of these kestrels have been around this winter.  It is the smallest falcon/raptor bird in North America. I have most commonly seen them on telephone wires and posts as seen here:

Fishing Report

Cobia Info

Just as a quick post I wanted to mention that the first cobia caught off Pensacola Beach last year was caught March 10, 2009 by boat and the first pier fish was March 11, 2009.

Pensacola Beach 9:00am:  Head high on some breaks out here, pretty rough conditions with onshore winds still blowing 15-18mph.  Big surf should remain through Friday.
