Here is a link for a website I came across.  It has 2 underwater live streaming webcams in the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas.  The water can sometimes be a little cloudy, but all in all pretty neat.  Check it out:

Fish and Skurf 7/26/09

An okay day on the water, marine weather forecast said “bay and inland waters smooth wind southwest at 10 knots.”  I think they missed something, cause the bay was 2-3 with winds west at 25mph.  I fished in the morning at the pass for kingfish and didn’t have a bite.  I was chased off by a storm at around 9:30am and went to Bob Sikes Bridge where I did find some bluefish to get the skunk off of the boat.  We then did some skurfing.  Here are some pictures.  One is Nick Barnett on the skurfboard.  Then the storm this morning and a green heron.

‘Vandenberg’ deployed off Key West

The highly anticipated placement of the world’s second-largest ex-military ship as an artificial diving and fishing reef, near Key West, is finally a reality. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) worked closely with its many project partners to successfully deploy the decommissioned military ship “Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg” at 10:24 a.m., May 27.
