Fishing Report 10/26/08
Inshore: Lots of good trout fishing right now on the flats and dock lights at night. I think this is setting up to be a great winter for trout fishing since they are so plentiful now and with the absence of red tide this past summer. Look for some gators to be feeding this winter! As far as the snooking goes, some spotty reports the last few days but I expect them to be on fire this week up until the next cold front.
Offshore: Anybody and everybody will be kingfishing now through mid-November. Be careful because it is pretty rough out there. Lots of bait at the Sunshine Skyway, the bigger baits are hanging out underneath the smaller baits that you see flipping at the surface so don’t be afraid to throw the net on the small bait schools.
