Fishing Report 6/13/08 (Pics)
Some good reports coming in of flat water and calm, hot days. Now is the time to be out there. As far as the fishing goes: plenty of beach snook, big redfish, and tarpon to keep you busy this weekend. Also would be a great weekend to try some shark fishing. Reports are coming in from all around the bay area and Boca Grande to Honeymoon Island. Most are Atlantic Sharpnose and Blacktips but there are some big bulls and hammerhead sightings as well. Good timing for these photos sent in of the Hass family in Boca Grande of two mean Atlantic Sharpnose Shark and a bonnethead, looks like everyone got in on the action! Fishing Report 6/2/08
The shipping canal was lit up with fish this past weekend. Saw lots of mullet and reds in the residential canals yesterday (Treasure Island). Received a good report from Jeff down in Boca Grande, tarpon and sharks, check it out in the comments section! Thanks Jeff and keep them coming!
My cousin Keith is in town this weekend. We are going to be getting out a couple times. Expect some good reports from me this weekend.
