Inshore: Full moon and cold front causing some funky fishing.  The bite turns on and then stops.  One species unaffected is trout.  The trout bite has been steady and big fish are being reported everywhere, of course, they are out of season.

Offshore:  Gags are moving in close as the water temp drops.  Kings and mackerel are still on fire.

Inshore:  The redfish bite and snook bite has been very hot from the passes to around the mangrove islands.  Mangrove snapper are still eating well and can be found around any kind of structure.  Still some left over pompano around area bridges.

Offshore:  Just a few reports of some gag grouper and some snapper.  Pretty rough this week offshore.

Today was out fishing and saw several cool things.  I got out at about 2:30pm to a ripping outgoing tide.  Fished the pass for about 4 hours.  Not too much for me to show but was able to catch some cool photos of tailing snook and some caught hogfish!  Also saw a red grouper caught.  I managed a couple snapper and a gag grouper.  Click on this article and check out the pics below.
