Surf Report 9/15/08
Upahm Beach 10:15am: Still some small surf out there breaking close to shore. Hurricane Ike sure sent us a ton of waves starting last Thursday through now Monday. Seas should begin to calm some now. Once flatness sets in we may stay that way for a little bit. Next posible shot may happen on the 2oth. Skim conditions look good!!

Upham Beach 10:28am: Surf is still hanging in there. Knee high with some bigger sets few and far between. Should be fun on the longboard. Surfed Sunset Beach yesterday. It was small but some fun peaky close-out waves. This should be the last day of the Hurricane Ike swell. Here is Sam on one of the waves yesterday:
Surf Report 9/13/08
Upham Beach 10:55am: Surf is about knee to thigh high. Last night it was a little bigger but not too much. The waves were peaky and closing out. Get the longboards and go. Hurricane Ike made landfall over night near Galveston Texas.
Surf Report 9/12/08
Upham Beach 9:20am: Surf remains up. It is about waist high at Upham and bigger everwhere else. I would expected it to be about chest high in Pass-a-Grille. There will be at least small surf through the weekend. Hurricane Ike should make landfall in Texas this evening as a Cat. 3. Hopefully it sucked some of the energy out of the gulf so that no major hurricanes form after this one.
Surf Report 9/10/08 #3
Upham Beach 3:12pm: Looking good out there. Waist high right now, tide is going out. I will either be surfing or shooting some photos at Upham this evening. Get out there while you can. Reports are that it will hang around for a few days but you never know. Probably in the shoulder high plus range tomorrow.
Upham Beach 11:40am: Green Team Go!! Surf has arrived. Small bumps at 9am jumped up to maybe Thigh high now. Should build all day. We will get another report later today.
