Surf Report 9/26/08
Upham Beach 9:30am: Nothing to report in the way of surf. Still a little windy out there but no swell pushing ashore. On the right tides and places there may be some fun skim. Looks like another flat weekend.
Surf Report 9/19/08
Upham Beach 10:20am: Flatness is still upon us, small little shore break for skim, offshore winds have picked up so I don’t see it building any today. Watch the wave models and the tropics. Go fishing!
Surf Report 9/16/08
Upham Beach 9:00am: Surf is about shin to knee high. Looks like a lot of fun for skim. After this last little bit I expect it to flatten out for a few days. As we move closer to October we should see the start of the cold front season that will bring some surf to the area as usual.
Surf Report 9/15/08
Upahm Beach 10:15am: Still some small surf out there breaking close to shore. Hurricane Ike sure sent us a ton of waves starting last Thursday through now Monday. Seas should begin to calm some now. Once flatness sets in we may stay that way for a little bit. Next posible shot may happen on the 2oth. Skim conditions look good!!
Surf Report 9/7/08
Upham Beach 9:20am: Still nice and flat out there. Some small lines of skim coming in off the Gulf. Looking at a possible Wednesday swell from Hurricane Ike as it re-emerges into the gulf early Wednesday. We will update on Ike with more detail tomorrow.
