Snook Season

November 20, 2008 · Filed Under Articles · Comment

Just as a reminder, snook season closes December 1st.  Don’t be caught without knowing!!!  Also as the water gets cooler take extra time to revive the snook when releasing them, as they do not do well with the cold water.

Inshore: Lots of good trout fishing right now on the flats and dock lights at night.  I think this is setting up to be a great winter for trout fishing since they are so plentiful now and with the absence of red tide this past summer.  Look for some gators to be feeding this winter!  As far as the snooking goes, some spotty reports the last few days but I expect them to be on fire this week up until the next cold front.
