The answer in the Fish ID Contest? Tripletail!!! This juvenile was bright yellow, when they get larger they can have a broad range of colors from gray to brown and even sometimes black. Here’s another photo just for fun…
Offshore Report South of Pensacola

Juvenile Tripletail
Caught a glowing yellow object out of the corner of my eye while fishing a canal. Turned out to be a small tripletail. 
I lured it over with a shrimp for a photo-op. My 1st tripletail photos!
